JAMMU, Feb 26:
J&K Sharnarthi Action Committee (JKSAC) today extended a rousing reception to Bhartiya Janta Party’s national president Nitin Gadkari at Ganhi Nagar here today.
A large number of Sikh community members under the leadership of senior leader of BJP and general secretary of J&K Sharnarthi Committee Amrik Singh.
A Kirpan (Siropa) was presented by Amrik Singh to Nitan Gadkari as a mark of respect on behalf of Sikh community and subsequently a charter of demands was presented to him for its onward submission to the union government.
In their memorandum they stressed upon the need to compensate about 31683 register refugee families of 1947 at one stretch.
