| Bhim flays Centre, statefor Pattan incident | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 26: Prof. Bhim Singh, Panther Party Chief has expressed anguish over the failure of State and Centre governments to protect the minorities in Jammu and Kashmir state. Expressing his sympathies with the kins of those killed in Shia–Suni sectarian conflicts in Pattan last evening, he said Shias are now the next targets of deep conspiracy to eliminate minorities form the Kashmir Valley. In a statement, he has said that under well conceived conspiracy hatched by National Conference in connivance with fundamentalist forces active in the state to accomplish anti-India agenda. They made first Kashmir Pandits target by throwing them out of the Valley followed by killing people of Sikhs and Gujjars communities. "What happened last evening with the innocent Shia community is a matter of shame for all of us who believe in composite and secular way of life", said Panthers Party Chief. Further adding, he has said that this tragic incident has posed a challenge to those who have been claiming of keeping the secular and democratic credential alive in the state. This incident of Pattan has deeply hurt the "Kashmiriat" for which ruling alliance stands exposed.
