| Mandate to genuine candidates in MC pools: Soz | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua Feb 27: District body of Jammu-Kashmir Pradesh congress committee organised a public rally on the eve of welcoming of the newly joined faces retd S P Sardar Khan ,retd assistant director Bagwan Dass Khajuria and municipal councilor of BJP Dr. Balraj along with their hundreds of supporters. President Jammu-Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Prof. Saif-u-Din Soz, Minister for Revenue Raman Bhala, Minister for Health and Floriculture Sham Lal Sharma, Minister for Medical Education R. S Chib, former minister for education Manjeet Singh and the district President Kathua and MLC Subash Gupta welcomed the new entrants.
On the occasion Soz appreciated Sardar Khan for joining democratic and secular political organization which has played a unforgettable role by leading the freedom movement under the great leadership of Mahatma Gandhi and Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru and since then the Congress ruling across the country and brought the nation on the top of development. He further praised the Sardar Khan’s ground footing and love for their people and said that the Khan surely would be strong force in district Kathua as well as throughout the state from top level to ground level and party fold would be strengthen. He said that the mandate would be given to right candidates for municipal council through a well disciplined committee which has already been framed under the chairmanship of Ex Deputy Chief Minister Pandit Mangat Ram Sharma and comprising of Raman Bhala, Sham Lal Sharma, R.S Chib, and others. President of Municipal Council Kathua Rajinder Singh, Gen Secretary District Youth Congress Bhupinder Singh and Secretary Jammu Kashmir Congress Manohar Singh appealed high command to mandate right and genuine winning candidates in the forthcoming elections of Municipal Council.
