| 10 days drugs de-addiction camp concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Doda, Feb 27: 10 days drugs de-addiction camp concludes at Doda. Camp was organized by 76 Bn CRPF in collaboration with District Administration & Young Star Cricket Club Doda. On the concluding day, CRPF organized a grand function in which Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda Prabhat Singh was the Chief Guest while Commanding Officer 76 Bn CRPF Harpal Singh was the Guest of Honour on the occasion. The programme was attended by large no of senior citizens & intellectuals of the area besides 53 patients of drugs abuse who get medical treatment during this camp were also present on the occasion. In his inaugural address, CO 76 Bn CRPF Harpal Singh highlighted aim of organizing such awareness camp in the area & said that in present era the use of drugs among youth is increasing day by day & CRPF is doing their best to reach the society people especially with the youth to aware them not to become the victim of drugs & alcohol which would destroy their life. Before the concluding day of this camp a team from New Delhi under Alcoholic Anonymous also visits this camp & shares their valuable experience with the patients & taught them about the ill effect of drugs & alcohol. It is important to mention here that it was for the first time such awareness camp was organized by 76 Bn CRPF of Doda which was highly appreciated by the locals of the area. While speaking on the occasion, SSP Prabhat Singh congratulates 76 Bn CRPF for organizing such camps in the area which will aware the general public especially youth about bad effects of drug use. The medical camp was organized under the supervision of Dr. Anurag Giri. The work of stage secretary was carried out by Mehboob Hassan Kriapak, Manager YSCC who also present formal vote of thanks. S.S.Upadhya 2IC 76 Bn CRPF, Mohammad Iqbal Zarger Dy. CMO Doda, Arif Rishoo SP Doda, Nazir Ahmed Ganai Dy.SP & others were among others who were present on this occasion.
