| Shastri for early release of wages | | |
JAMMU: President National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri has appealed the chief minister to release the funds for early payment of the wages of casual labourers working in the floriculture department. In a statement issued here today, Shastri has regretted that the wages of the poor casual labourers have not been released for the last six months and their families are facing lot of problems. He aid that as the department is directly under control of chief minister as such it is requested that the wages are disbursed to the poor casual labourers well before Diwali and Eid festivals. Shastri also demanded that these casual labourers should given necessary training in the their jobs so that they may prove beneficial to the department.
