| Sagar appeals all parties to contribute for permanent peace in the state | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, Feb 28: Cal-ling upon political parties including Hurriyat Conf-erence to come forward and play their role in resolving the Kashmir issue, Minister for Rural Development Department Ali Mohammad Sagar said that gun is no solution for any problem, adding that negotiations have always proved fruitful to solve the issues. Sagar was addressing a largely attended public meeting at Behrampora in Sopore here today. Minister said Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah is himself very keen to solve the Kashmir issue politically which would pave way for permanent peace in state. Sagar said the Chief Minister has also informed the Prime Minister in this behalf when during his visit to valley to inaugurate train from Qazigund to Baramulla. Sagar further said that some political parties are hatching conspiracy against coalition government but said that their motives will never realized. He said such political parties are out to make political capital out of the incidents like killing of an infant of Baramulla by stone pelters. Referring to the unemployment problem, Sagar said government has already announced the employment package under which five lakh educated youth would be covered under the package and provided employment opportunities. He said the six model villages out of 13 have been completed. Each model village is being constructed at a cost of Rs 1.20 crore. Minister of State for R&B, Javaid Ahmad Dar, who also addressed the gathering said that various efforts are on to bring Rafiabad on the tourist map adding that Chief Minister is himself striving hard to develop the state on modern lines and bring it at par with developed states of the country.
