| HM hideout busted near LoC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 28:
A hideout of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militants was busted by security forces near the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
Official sources said a tip-off led jawans of special oeration group (SOG) of police and Rashtriya Rifles to a HM
hideout in Ghanta forests of Poonch at about 2 am.The hideout was carved out by militants in the woods near the LoC, the sources added.
Its search led jawans to the recovery of one AK rifle, its three magazines, 28 rounds, 21 Pika rounds, five RPG rounds and a large quantity of other explosive items.The hideout was later busted by the jawans. Sources said
jawans were maintaining a tight vigil all along the LoC.
