| Govt urged to drop proposal of banning inter distt recruitment | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 1: All Jammu and Kashmir SC, ST Retired Employees Forum (SC ST REF) has urged upon the government to drop any proposal banning inter District recruitments in the state.
In a meeting held here today, president SC,ST REF- Seva Dass Digra said that Chief Minister should drop the proposal as per his assurances for the benefit of the youth belonging to these communities.
The Forum demanded implementation of recommendations of 6thpay commission to pensioners, raising income limit of parents of SC, ST students for post- Matric scholoarship at par with the other reserve categories like RBs.
They further demanded maintaining proper recruitment roaster in each Department and formulation of transfer policy on the lines of recently announced policy of teachers in Education Department.
