| Engineers, electricians hold protest demonstration | | | early times report
JAMMU, Mar 1: Hundreds of I.T.I Electricians Association, Jammu and unemployed engineers held a protest in support of their demands and urged upon the government to address their problems immediately.
Addressing the protesters, its President Rakesh Sharma said the Government should fulfill its promise by providing the jobs to hundreds of unemployed engineers and electricians. He said that since 1997, no appointment of ITI trained electricians has been effected by the government as a result of which their number has increased, adding that government should take immediate measures in this respect in order to mitigate the sufferings of the unemployed engineers and electricians.
Present on the occasion included Sunil Bali, Swaran Lal, Mukesh Raina, Raj Kumar and othes.
