| Bail plea in gang rape case dismissed | | |

Jammu, Mar 2: Special Mobile Magistrate, Jammu, Mr. RN Wattal today dismissed the bail application in a gang rape case in which the victim is said to be a 13 years of age.
Court after hearing senior prosecuting officer Rajesh Bakshi appearing for the State who opposed the bail application on various ground, including the age of victim, upon this Special Mobile Magistrate, Jammu, Mr. RN Wattal observed that the prosecutrix is a minor girl 13 years of age, in her statement she has given the events of committing sexual assault on her. In the normal course of human conduct an unmarried minor girl would not like to give publicity to the traumatic experience, she had gone and would feel terribly embraced in relation to the incident of rape. With these observations, Court dismissed the bail application of Rakesh Kumar and Mukesh Kumar |
