Traffic awareness drive held

JAMMU, Mar 2: People's Association for Social Reforms and Justice (PASJ) organised a traffic awareness drive at Bikram Chowk in which Superintendent of Police, Traffic, City S.N Manhas was the Chief guest. In his address, Chairman of the Association J.S Rissam said that the traffic police is doing its utmost to manage the traffic in the city but at the same time public in general have also to cooperate and observe the traffic rules. He asked the vehicle operators to avoid driving without licence, rash driving, zig-zag driving, mixing drink with drive, using mobile phones while driving, driving two wheelers without helmet (other than turban wearers)and so on. The Chairman also presented a memento to the chief guest. Later the Chairman, SP Traffic and all the workers of the Association distributed handbills and pamphlets among the general public for mass awareness. Prominent among those present on the occasion were President of Association Sandeep Singh, Vice President Anirudh Gupta and others.
