| Abducted girl recovered from Chandigarh | | |

JAMMU, Mar 2: A girl, who was abducted by a youth from her residence at Govindpur near Chatha in Satwari few days back, was today recovered by police from Chandigarh.
The girl, whom police identified as Sakshi of Govindpur, had gone missing from her residence under mysterious circumstances on February 18 last.
When her family members came to know that she had been abducted by one Sunil Kumar of Govindpur, they lodged a report with police in this regard.
Acting on a tip-off, police today recovered the girl from Chandigarh and arrested Sunil. Both were brought to Jammu in the evening.
