| Mystery shrouds student's death | | |

JAMMU, Mar 2: A final-year engineering student was found lying dead under mysterious circumstances in his rented room at Talab Tillo here today.
Identified as Zaheen Akhtar Ali (22), son of Dr Bashir Ahmad, he hailed from Srinagar.He was found lying dead on the bed with laptop on his chest by the landlord, who informed police.Police evacuated the body of the mortuary of GMC hospital. No post-mortem was conducted on it as his family members, who had reached here from Srinagar, opposed it.
Though cardiac arrest was stated to be the possible reason behind the incident, police had registered a case under section 174 of CrPC and started investigations |
