| Kupwara, Doda brought under NAIP: Mir | | |

Jammu, Mar 2: Minster for Agriculture, Ghulam Hassan Mir today informed the Legislative Council that the district Kupwara and district Doda have been brought under National Agriculture Innovative Project (NAIP) Component-III and selection of clusters were finalized at high level meetings with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
This was stated by the Minister while replying to a question raised by Khalid Najib Suharawardy.
He said in the erstwhile Doda district, clusters at Assar for vegetables, Bhaderwah for fisheries, animal husbandry, horticulture, agriculture besides Kishtwar for saffron and other agriculture related activities were finalized.
He said a knowledge centre has been also established at Bhaderwah.
