Kathua, Mar 2: The residents of ward no 6, 7 and the village Naroli today called on the president of municipal council, Kathua, Ch. Rajinder Singh(Bubby). The deputation was led by councilor of ward no 7 Smt. Neelam Devi.
They,later, submitted charter of demands regarding their long pending demands which includes construction of toilets as per centrally sponsored sanitation schemeand the consideration of the genuine people for pension scheme, construction of lanes and drains and the repairing of wrecked road from Nagri to Palli Morh.
The president Ch. Rajinder Singh (Bubby) listened to the deputation and assured them their genuine demands would be addressed soon and he would taken the matter to the notice of the higher authorities. Other who were presentPuran Chand, Yog Raj, Ajeet Kumar, Omi Surjit, Smt. Poly, Smt. Bimala Des Raj, and others were presented.
