SDPO Nowshera suspended

Rajouri,Mar 2: Government today has ordered suspension of Sub District Police Officer Nowshera Rakesh Kumar on the allegations of embezzlement in the abduction case. The action has been taken following by the submission of reports by Chief Justice of High Court to Home department.
Giving information police sources said that the girl Seema, name changed, was kidnapped three months ago which was rescued by the police after lodging a kidnapping case. A challan was also produced before the court where girl did not respond to the question of the concerned judge. The case was later taken to the CJM court where girl alleged that SDPO had demanded Rs 50,000 failing which he framed wrong report .The parents of the girl also approached to the Chief Justice of High Court and accordingly an inquiry was initiated . Today on the base of the inquiry submitted to Home department he was placed under suspension, police sources maintained.
