| Eye camp organised | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 3: The Jammu Bachao Andolan (JBA) organised an eye operation camp in collaboration with the Government Medical College, Jammu here. In all, 14 eye surgeries were performed by a team of doctors of the Opthalmology Department of the GMC.
Earlier, the JBA had organized a medical camp at Khara Maidan in Samba district where 105 patients suffering from the various eye ailments were examined by a team of specialists. Of them, 14 patients were advised to undergo eye surgery at the Government Medical College, Jammu, while the rest of 91 patients were given medicines at the camp.
The JBA provided spectacles to the patients after the surgery while the medicines were given by the GMC.
A number of activists of JBA, including its Convener, Wing Commander (Retd) G.L. Sharma were present on the occasion.
