JAMMU, Mar 3: The Government has created and referred for recruitment, 6500 posts, to meet the manpower requirements in Health and Medical Education Department, said Minister for Health, Sham Lala Sharma in reply to a question by A R Veeri.
The Minister said that out of 6500 posts created, 2500 are meant for Health Department, while remaining 4000 are for Medical Education. He also apprised the House that 800 posts of doctors, under various categories, have also been filled during the past one year.
Vikar Rasool and Dr. Mohammad Shafi Wani also raised supplimentaries on the main question.
