| Second Scientific Advisory panel meet held | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 3: Second Scientific Advisory Com-mittee meeting of KVK, Kathua held
Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kathua organised second Scientific Advisory Com-mittee meeting in the premises of KVK Kathua under the chairmanship of Dr K.S.Risam Director Extension Education SKUAST-Jammu.
Dr N.A Sudan Director Research SKUAST-Jammu was also attended the meeting.
The scientific advisory committee meeting was attended by all the district officers of agriculture and allied department, including progressive farmers and farm women.
At the onset of the meeting Dr Amrish Vaid Programme Coordinator of KVK, Kathua welcome the Director Extension Educ-ation, Director Research and all the dignitaries.
While welcoming the participants Dr Vaid highlighted the achievements of KVK Kathua. He presented the activities of KVK, Kathua for the year 2009 -10. Action plan tailored for 2010-11 was also presented before the house.
Dr. N.A. Sudan Director Research SKUAST Jammu in his remarks appreciated the work done by KVK-Kathua and assured the full support from his directorate Dr K.S.Risam, Director Extension Education, SKUAST-Jammu, while chairing the meeting appr-eciated the close coordination of KVK-Kathua with line departments.
The stage was managed by Dr Anamika Jamwal SMS (Plant Protection). The Scientific Advisory Com-mittee Meeting was also attended by Dr. Rajeev Bharat SMS (Agr-onomy), Dr Vivak Ma-nohar Arya SMS (Soil Science), Ajay Kumar (Farm Manager) and Ms Shalini (Programme Assistant).
Finally Dr Berjesh Ajrawat SMS (Extension Education) extended the vote of thanks to the participants.
