| 2 killed, 17 hurt in road mishaps | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Mar 4: Two persons were killed and 17 others wounded in separate road mishaps across the region today.
Police sources said a woman was killed, while two others sustained critical injuries when their Maruti car was hit by a speeding truck at Tikri, about 30 km from here on the Jammu-Srinagar road. Sources identified the dead as Hema Tak of Bhaderwah. The injured were hospitalised.
In another incident, Champa Devi of Dinga Amb, Kathua was killed and four others were injured when a tractor skidded off the road and fell into a gorge at Gulman Morh near Davi, Dinga Amb. The injured were admitted to hospital. Five students and six staff members of K.V school, Udhampur, suffered injuries when their vehicle overturned near Flata, Rehmbal.All the injured were admitted to MH, Udhampur.
