| Man held with charas in Katra | | |

JAMMU, Mar 4: A man was arrested by police in the holy Katra town along with a consignment of 350 grams of charas. Police sources said cops asked a person to stop for checking at Painthal Chowk, Katra, but he ignored the signal following which he was chased and overpowered.
His frisking led cops to the recovery of 350 gm charas, the sources added.
The charas was seized and the man arrested. Sources identified him as Lehar Singh of Reasi. He was booked under Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPSA) . A case stands registered
against him at the Katra police station.
Meanwhile, the Katra police arrested one Narinder Kumar alias Shinda pf Nelay, Katra, and recovered from him 150 intoxicant capsules.
