New Delhi, Oct 12 The Delhi High Court today issued notices to the Home Ministry and Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), seeking replies to the application moved by Bharti Yadav, the elusive witness in Nitish Katara murder case, asking for release of her impounded passport.

Justice A K Sikri, while directing the Ministries to file the replies immediately, posted the matter for further hearing to October 17.

A key witness in Nitish Katara murder, Bharti Yadav had earlier given an undertaking in the trial court that she would depose before the court on November 25.
