| Political scenario in Kashmir not conducive: YAIKS | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 6: Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) has expressed apprehensions over the adjustment of Kashmiri Pandit youth under J&K Migrants Special Recruitment Drive- 2010 and it alleged that present political scenario of entire Kashmir Division is not conducive for the proposed move. Addressing media persons here today, President YAIKS RK Bhat said that the militancy activities have accelerated in the recent past and major damage is being borne by the nationalist forces. The youth who were ready and had given their consent to serve in any District headquarter of Kashmir Valley now feel concern about the changed political and social conditions of the region. He demanded the government to issue a White Paper detailing the measures taken for the safety, security and confidence building of these youth to be recruited. Bhat said it is the government, who has to give affidavit for their security instead they are demanding it from youth. He informed that a high level delegation of YAIKS met General Secretary AICC Rahul Gandhi, at New Delhi on February and apprised him about the apprehensions caused due to these militancy related activities and their aftermath on the implementation of this special recruitment drive. Organization suspects a sabotage of this special recruitment drive by appointing non deserving candidates who may have temporarily shifted to Jammu but they soon return back to their homes and hearths. A major proportion of these youth have been short listed for these recruitments as has been published in the print media, said YAIKS President It is shocking "When it comes to, our exclusively agreed share of numbers of posts hefty portion is being dolled with impunity and utter disregard of scruples. " This is bound to encourage vested interests and damage the cause of the KP Community youth, he added
