| JD institutes organises 'colours' contest | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 6: Jd Institute of Fashion Technology, Jammu Centre today organised 'Rang De- a Riot of Colours', a creatively colourful competition for the students of the institute. Each student was given a plain white cloth to design, color and innovate the fabric as creatively as possible. The students came up with fabulous creations and a variety of garments. There design creations comprised of Kurties, Skirts, table cloth, and cushion covers etc. Sanya Bansal, chairperson GD Goenka Public School and Pawan Reen, fashion designer were the judges of the event. Speaking on the occasion, they appreciated the creative work of the Jd students and encouraged them in doing more creative in their fashion field in future The first prize was bagged by Megha Gupta, while second and third prizes were won by Niharika Gupta and Anu. The consolation prizes were given to Jatin Jain, Aatir Rashid, Mridula and Himani. The pots made during the Pottery workshop were also put on display.
