| Arguments on charge on March 27 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 6: In much Publicized Amandeep Singh murder case, the Court today directed Special Public Prosecutor to supply the documents of charge-sheet to the counsel for the alleged accused persons so that they can argue on Charge and it fixed March 27, 2010. The directions in this regard were issued by Principal Sessions Judge Jammu BL Bhat.
Today, all the alleged involved much publicized Amandeep Singh Case, namely Jatinder Singh alias Raja, Royal Singh, Manohar Singh, former SSP Jammu, Sultan Mirza, then SHO, Satnam Singh SI, Sarwar Singh Hussain Bukhari former Ballastic Expert FSL, Constable Raj Singh, Choudhary Nagar Singh, Chouhdary Jagar Singh and Choudhary Rakesh Singh present whereas accused Ashok Singh against whom the proceedings u/s 512 CrPC had already been initiated was absent.
It is worthwhile to mention here on August 29, 2009 Amandeep Singh, son of former MLC & Advocate presently PDP Leader Deepinder Kour was murdered. The main accused Jatinder Singh son of Choudhary Nagar Singh was arrested on August 30, 2009 and accused Royal Singh was also arrested and later and weapon of offence was recovered from them. It was alleged that the weapon of offence was allegedly changed by the Choudhary brothers by hatching criminal conspiracy with the police officers and FSL officials, all the police officials & FSL officials were arrested in fudging of evidence whereas the Choudhary brothers surrendered before the Court on November 17, 2009.
