| 'National Integration' camp concludes at Sanasar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 7: Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) in its continued endeavour to give exposure and inculcate leadership qualities amongst the youth of the state has been organizing interactive prog-rammes. The National Integration Camp with 150 participants from six states was the latest in the series which got concluded today March 7, 2010 at Sanasar. This National Integration Camp was organized with a different approach and its theme was Integration through Adventure. Inaugurating the Camp on March 1, 2010, Chaudhary Mohammad Atif, Zonal Director, NYKS, laid emphasis on togetherness and unity. He said that development can only come when youth of the country come together to fight out divisive forces, which confront our nation today. Col. Virinder Singh, Principal of Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports (JIM&WS), Pahalgam said adventure was the best medium of promoting integration and respect amongst citizens. He stated that 7 days of programme has given the participants a unique insight into relationships and will understand the value of unity and togetherness. The National Integration Camp was organized with the support of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. On the Valedictory Function Chaudhary Mohd Atif, Zonal Director, NYK Sangathan, distributed the certificates to the participants. Other present on the occasion were Capt.(Dr) Rahul Mahajan, S S Kashyap. M L Goja, Dy. Director, NYK Sangathan, Nissar Ahmad District Youth Coordinator, NYK and other official of Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports.
