Peoples' woes compounding due to wrong policies of Govt: PDP

JAMMU, Mar 7: Former Minister and senior leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Rangil Singh has alleged that coalition regime has failed to address day to day problems of the common masses. Addressing a function which was organized by district president Thakur Suram Singh at Ranjan Thathi in Nagrota assembly segment in connection with the joining of Rashpal Singh in PDP, Rangil Singh alleged that during the last 14 months NC led government has done nothing to solve problems of the common masses. He remarked that instead of minimizing woes of the people, problems of the commoners have further compounded due to wrong policies being pursued by this dispensation. PDP leader mentioned that performance of this government appeared only on papers as this regime was more particular about publicity and photo sessions. "It is high time to launch a war against this government which is failed on all fronts", he exhorted. Welcoming those who have joined PDP, Rangil Singh said that this party has emerged as vibrant political force in the state. Speaking on the occasion, MLC Murtaza Khan said that during the last 14 months problems of common people have increased manifold due the policies of the coalition.. "All activities in the state have virtually come to standstill due to wrong policies of the coalition", he said Former MLC Ved Mahajan, Daman Bhasin, H R Chargotra, Ashiq Hussain, Abdul Rashid Malik, Baz Ali, Hassan Ali, Vikram Singh and others also addressed the function. Earlier local leader Rashpal Singh along with his hundreds of supporters joined PDP.
