| Sharma demands for setting degree college at Kalakote | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 7: Chairman, All J&K Kissan Union and former Legislator, Ashok Sharma has demanded creation of a new district in Poonch and Rajouri and Sub-Division at Kalakote. Sharma also urged for setting up of a degree college and polytechnic at Kalakote, creation of Tehsils at Taryath and Khawas and Niabats at Panjah, Dhangri and Mathiani. He pleaded for establishment of rural development blocks at Baljaralan, Mogla and Dharamsal. The former Legislator said that the setting up of these administrative units is imperative in view of the remoteness of both the border districts for ensuring effective monitoring and supervision of development works and welfare schemes.
