| Governor should constitute board for Dharmarth Trust: KD | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 7: Kranti Dal (KD) has appealed the Governor NN Vohra to constitute a Board for Dharmarth Trust on the pattern of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. Addressing media persons here today, KD City President Himanshu Bali alleged that rampant corruption is prevailing in Raghunath Temple in particular and Dharmarth Trust in general. He informed that the pilgrims who visit Raghunath Temple alleged that the Pujaris (Priest) of the Mandirs pressurize them to give them money in the form of offerings. "These corrupt practices are mainly the cause of the low number of pilgrims visiting the temples of Jammu" he alleged adding that there is no parking facilities for the pilgrims. Bali said that a parking site was suggested for the pilgrims, but the Dharmarth Trust had constructed shops and market (Karan Market) to mint money and sell these shops. He informed that in every temple of the country, the deities are fed twice (Bhog), but in Raghunath Ji Temple, in the evening time, the deities are fed with milk only.
