Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 7: Maintain-ing that friendship between India and Pakistan is inevitable for progress of south asia, opposition Peoples Democ-ratic Party today said Parliament should support the latest peace initiatives towards the neighbouring country by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
"Parliament needs to put its full weight behind the latest peace initiative with Pakistan by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh," former chief minister and PDP patron Mufti Moh-ammad Sayeed said while add-ressing a public meeting at border town of Arnia in Bishnah assembly segment.
"Different parties in Parliament must rise above partisan interests as they do in matters of common concern to lend the peace process a national character," he said.
