| Two mine blasts rock IB | | | Jammu: Two powerful mine blasts occured on the international border (IB) in Hiranagar and Akhnoor sectors of the region early today. Police sources said an anti-tank mine exploded near the IB in the forward Bobiyan area of Hiranagar. Its impact was so powerful that the window panes of nearby houses were shattered. There was, however, no loss to life or property in the incident, the sources added.
Another mine exploded when a cow stepped over it near Bardal forward area in Akhnoor sector. The cow was wounded critically in the incident.
