| Semis line-up drawn in State Football | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Mar 8: Semi-finals line-up has been drawn in the ongoing 21st State Football Championships with the entry of defending champions, Jammu and Kashmir Bank in last four stages at GGM Science College grounds, here today. Other three teams already qualified for the semifinals are Vijay Club, Forest XI and J&K Police-A. In the fourth quarterfinal, played this afternoon, formidable J&K Bank blanked Food and Supplies Department XI beating latter 4-0. Nigerian forward, Ibrahim Badru brought the first blood for J&K Bank in the 13th minute, followed by the second goal by Bilal Ahmed in the 22nd minute. Leading by two goals in the first hal of the play, Bank added two more goals to make it a big win Bilal scored his second goal netting the ball in the 54th minute. The fourth goal came in the 67th minute of the 90-minute game through Satinder Singh. Now, in the first semi-final, scheduled for tomorrow at 3 pm, Vijay Club shall take on Forests XI at 3 pm Today's match was officiated by Farooq Shaheen, Farooq Khan, Muzaffar Ahmed and Saudhagar Mattoo. Former Chief Secretary and Member Legislative Council (MLC), Vijay Bakaya was special guest in today's quarterfinal.
