| Revenue employees to support strike call | | |

JAMMU, Mar 8: All J&K Revenue Employees Association has extended support to the strike call of Joint Consultative (JCC) to be observed for three days, from March 11 to March 13.
In a meeting of Association held under the chairmanship of Mohd Latif Qureshi, president, the members discussed various issues relating to observance of forthcoming strike by the state government employees.
After threadbare discussions and deliberations, it was decided that the Employees of Revenue Department would also observe strike on March 11, 12 and 13 in support of the common cause of the state government employees and in order to register the protest against the callous attitude of the State Government for not fulfilling the long pending and burning demands of the employees.
The Association has also appealed to all the revenue employees of the State to observe strike in their respective offices/institutions from March 11 to March 13 in support of their common cause in order to put pressure on the state government to fulfill the genuine demands of the employees i.e. release of arrears on account of 6th Pay Commission, enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years, removal of pay anomalies of various cadres including Clerical cadre, regularization of all temporary, adhoc, consolidated, contractual and other employees etc.
