| Nagri-Parole residents call on DDC Kathua | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KATHUA, Mar 8: A deputation of the residents of Nagri-Parole called on District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kathua, Sanjeev Verma. The delegation under the leadership of District president SC/BC cell of National Conference (NC) Subash Chander Azad submitted a memorandum of their demands to DDC. They demanded expulsion of undeserved and ineligible people from the benefits of housing scheme launched by the central government which is purely for those who belong to Below Poverty Line (BPL). The delegation alleged that most of the people registered under the centrally sponsored scheme of Integrated Housing and Slum Development programme in Nagri Parole are not actual beneficiaries. Subash Chander Azad along with Janak Raj and Baldev Raj claimed that 15 days ago we had they had met with DDC Kathua regarding the issue and in this concern he orderd constitution of a committee to look into the matter comprising Additional DC M Raju, Tehsildar, Avtar Singh, AD Food & Supplies Deep Raj and EO Municipal Committee Nagri but even after the passage more than two week's time nothing concrete has done in this direction so far.
