Ganderbal deputation calls on CM

Srinagar, October 12 - A deputation from Ganderbal called on Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad here last evening and brought to his notice that Geology and Mining Department has enhanced royalty of sand and bajri extracted in the area from nallah Sind which has caused inconvenience to a large number of people who are dealing with this trade particularly labour class and transporters.
Leader of the opposition in the Legislative Assembly Mr. A. R. Rather, Mian Altaf Ahmad MLA and Sheikh Ghulam Ahmad Saloora were also present on the occasion.
Mr. Azad assured that he will look into the matter and get full details from the concerned authorities for redressal of the grievance.
