| Charak inspects road improvement works | | |
Srinagar, October 12 – Minister for R&B Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak today inspected Baba Gulam-ud-Din road form main bazaar Brain which is in a dilapidated condition. The Minister directed the team of engineers accompanying him to undertake the renovation and upgradation of road on priority, for the convenience of the people.
On the occasion a deputation met the Minister at Brain and put forth their problems regarding dilapidated roads and scarcity of drinking water.
The Minister assured the people that the road leading to their locality would be constructed after taking up the matter with the LAWADA which has under taken a massive programme for construction of drains in the area.
Meanwhile the Minister took stock of the ongoing 15 days cleanliness drive launched in the Srinagar city. Interacting with the people the Minister asked them if they have any complaint regarding sanitary condition in their locality, they should contact the Mayor SMC and R&B authorities for timely redressal. |
