| Home guards take out protest rally | | |

JAMMU, MAR 09: All Jammu and Kashmir Home Guard Association today took out a protest rally demanding regularization of services of home guards.
The home guards, who have been staging dharna in front of the office of Divisional Commissioner Jammu at Mubarak Mandi complex, showed great resentment against the state administration for not solving their problems.
The rally was led by Kamla Sharma, president of the Association. She said that the members of the association have already met the former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad at Delhi and apprised him about all the facts.
"He had assured the members of the association that he would also ask the concerned authorities of the state to solve their problems on priority," she said and appealed to the Cabinet Ministers and MLAs to take their matter in the Assembly for consideration.
