| NC launches membership drive at Sunderbanis | | |

JAMMU, Mar 10: National Conference started its membership drive in district Rajouri (Rural) at Sunderbani today.
Provincial president National Conference (NC) Jammu, Rattan Lal Gupta accompanied by Vice Chairman Pahari Development Advisory Board Syed Mushtaq Ahmad Bukhari,
Vice Chairman Kissan Development Advisory Board Rachpal Singh, Political Advisor to Chief Minister Devender Singh Rana and provincial president Women's Wing Jammu Vijay Laxmi Dutta launched the drive.
On the occasion, a meeting of NC district unit was convened where in large number of party workers participated. The meeting was held under chairmanship of District president Rajouri (Rural) Vipan Paul Sharma.
While addressing the gathering, Rattan Lal said membership drive is the most import aspect of the party and this was already overdue, now the process of membership is on and party leadership is very much particular to complete the process as early as possible so that party elections are held in time.
National Conference is a democratic party and its elections are held after every three years as per the party constitution, he added
Gupta called upon the workers and office bearers to ensure that every person and voter who has faith in the policies and programmes of the party should be enrolled.
Provincial president appreciated the achievements of the coalition government headed by young Chief Minister Omar Abdullah with in a short span of 14 months of its formation despite so many hurdles put forth by the opposition.
