Muslim migrants highlight demands

JAMMU, Mar 10: All Muslim Migrants Committee have expresses serious concern over the neglecting attitude of state government in addressing their long pending demands, mainly jobs in PM's package and issuance of migrant certificates.
Addressing media persons at Jammu President Fida Hussain Sheikh, Vice President Nazir Ahmed Lone and General Secretary Mohmmad Hussain said that Muslim migrants are political activists putting in rented accommodations have to bear burden of electricity and drinking water expenses. They demanded that free electricity, bifurcation of cards, accommodation at Jakti and inclusion of Muslim members in Apex Committee should be done with immediate effects.
They also demanded that cash relief should be enhanced to Rs 10000 from Rs 4000 as sky rocketing of essential commodities have made hard to make two ends meet for the migrant community. They demanded that more than two hundred files which lying pending in the office of screening committee should cleared with immediate effect.
