| Gear up for Municipal elections, Firdous tells NC workers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Mar 11: Chairperson Jammu and Kashmir State Women Commission, Shamima Firdous has stressed upon the National Conference (NC) activists to gear up for the forthcoming municipal council’s elections and strengthens the party’s activities.
Shamima was addressing a public meeting organised by the district president of Women cell of NC, Neelam Rani here today.
On the occasion senior women leader of National Conference MLA Bimla Luthra also spoke and congratulated the women community for passing of Women’s Reservation Bill in the Rajya Sabha.
She appealed to the women to come forward in strengthening NC and make a glorious victory in forth coming municipal council’s elections.
District president Kathua Dhyan Chand and the district youth president Harpreet Singh Sethi, Senior leader SKishore Bakshi, Shakeel Ahmad and Ravinder Singh Slathia were also present in the meeting wherein a large number women participated.
