| Bio-degradable polythene launched in Jammu | | |

JAMMU, Mar 11: An inaugural ceremony of Oxo-Bio Degradable Polythene was organized by Ridi Gala Enterprises at Press Club of Jammu here today.
The main highlights of this launching-cum-awareness program was to educate general public as well as press, print and electronic media about the benefits of the products in every sphere of life.
Minister of State Environment and Forests, Shabir Ahmed Khan launched the " Oxo-Bio Degradable Polythene bags.
He expressed his happiness to know that people of Jammu are quiet aware of the nuisance caused by the use of Non-Bio Degradable Polythene products and working on the solution to this problem.
He appreciated the new concept of launching Eco Friendly Oxo- Bio degradable polythene products in Jammu by Ridi Gala Enterprises and highlighted the advantage of Oxo- Bio Degradable Polythene as it will help in maintaining the Ecology and Environment.
Besides, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation, Mubarak Singh, several prominent citizens from civil society were present on the occasion.
