| JU Urdu Deptt to organise Manzer Azmi lecture series | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Mar 11: For the first in the history of Department of Urdu, University of Jammu, the National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL), Ministry for HRD, Government of India has granted sanction to organise Manzer Azmi lectures series on campus. Manzer Azmi Memorial lecture has been sanctioned by NCPUL to the Department of Urdu for its excellent work in the academic as well as co-curricular activities. The lecture is been sanctioned in the memory of some reputed scholars of Urdu who had contributed a lot for the development of Urdu language and literature. He further said that before University of Jammu, Aligarh Muslim University and Delhi University has been awarded with these kinds of lectures by the NCPUL.
