| FBI keeping watch over Srinagar 7/11 probe | | | JAMMU: The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the US was keeping a watch over probe into the July 11 grenade explosions in Srinagar that injured two American citizens among many others, according to officials. The Victim Assistance Group of the FBI was in touch with officials in Jammu and Kashmir regarding the investigations, they said. Sabia, a US citizen of a Kashmiri origin, and her four-year-old daughter Henna were injured in a grenade explosion at Abe-Gujjar, a single-lane market place in Civil Lines area of Srinagar. The mother and daughter, residents of San Francisco, were recovering. Officials here said the US embassy in India as well as FBI contacted them over phone and offered help.
