| Hitachi forays into smaller cities with KAZE launch | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Mar 12: Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (India) Ltd (HHLI), a subsidiary of Hitachi Appliance Inc, Japan, today launched its new range of air-conditioners "KAZE" designed especially for the India market. KAZE brings Hitachi's unparalleled blend of superior technology, elegant design and high energy efficiency to a wider market in Tier 2 & 3 towns through its competitive pricing. The new BEE star rated, KAZE range, comprising of 4 variants, is differentiated on account of the unique Kaimin technology in addition to other comfort features that have been incorporated in this range. "Based on the introduction of KAZE and an aggressive pricing strategy, we expect to notch up 50,000 units of KAZE in our AC Volumes this year", stated Rajesh Nagari, General Manager, North at Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (India) Ltd. The Intelligent Auto Humid Control feature helps you to achieve comfortable room ambient even during high humid conditions. The revolutionary Kaimin technology adjusts the temperature automatically through the night to suit your body needs and ensure you get sound sleep and wake up fresh every morning. "The key thrust area as far as our home appliance range is concerned, has been on enhancing the energy efficiency of the product range and blending the superior designs with unparallel performance.", added Nagari. The KAZE would be available in four variants 0.9 Tr., 1.2 Tr., 1.5 Tr. & 2.0 Tr. priced at Rs 24,990, Rs 27,990, Rs 29,990 and Rs 33,990 respectively.
