| PDP leaders joins NC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Mar 13: Mohammad Amin Muntazir resident of Sankoo Kargil joined National Conference today at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu in presence of provincial president NC Jammu Rattan Lal Gupta, Feroz Ahmad Khan MLA Zanaskar and Aga Syed Ahmad Rizvi MLC. Mohd Amin Muntazir fought 2008 assembly elections on PDP mandate from Zanaskar Assembly segment unsuccessfully.
Rattan Lal Gupta, provincial president, Jammu welcomed the new entrant into the party fold and said that his joining shall strengthen the party in Zanaskar.
In another function, held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, many women leaders including Shamshad Shayik and Veena Bakshi alongwith their hundreds of supporters today joined NC in the presence of its state president (NC) Vijay Laxmi Dutta.
On the occasion, Vijay Laxmi Dutta welcoming them into party fold said that the policies and programmes of national conference are attracting new entrants into party fold.
She further said that under the dynamic leadership of Omar Abdullah, the state will enter into a new era of development, peace and prosperity. |
