| Rameshwar invited to attend 12th Un Crime Congress | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Mar 13: Rameshwar Singh Jamwal, President Criminologists Society and Dy. Advocate General, J&K has been invited to attend 12th United Nations Crime Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, which is going to be held from 12th to 19th April 2010 at Salvador, Brazil. Jamwal had earlier also attended 11th UN congress at Bangkok in 2005. According to a communication sent by John Sandage, Executive Secretary of the congress, Jamwal has been invited as individual expert and the main theme of the congress is 'Comprehensive Strategie for Global Challenges: Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Systems and their development in a changing World". Rameshwar Singh's paper has also been accepted for presentation, which is a rare feat at such high level meet. The meeting is likely to be attended by Heads of State, Justice Ministers and Home Ministers of more than 191 countries and will also have strong presence of top criminologists, victimologists, Penologists of the world: All important world bodies like Interpol, World Bank, Red Cross, Europen Union, Arab League, IMF etc are also participating in the meet. elcomed the guests while as Rajni Sehgal, Course Director presented the vote of thanks.
