JAMMU, Mar 13: In an election meeting of the District Volleyball Association Rajouri, BA Bakshi was unanimously elected as president while Wali Mohd made general secretary of the district unit today.
The house elected Gulzar Ahmed as treasurer of the Association. Baitullah Malik and Sikander Parvaiz Khan were made senior vice-presidents while Balraj Sharma, Ajaz Shah and Basharat Khan have been included in the body as vice-presidents, a handout issued here today informed.
The members also nominated Bharat Bhushan and Rakesh Choudhary as joint secretaries as also Asan Mirza elected as publicity secretary.
Those nominated to the executive body included Mushtaq Choudhary, Ajaz Hussain Shah, Abdul Hamid, Mukhtar Chowdhary, Khalid Hussain, Mohd Yousuf, Shabir Chowdhary, Mohd Younas, Mohd Shafiq, Mohd Farooq, Wasim Ahmed, Nasar Hussain and Rajinder Kumar.
