| BMS deplores government’s anti-labour policies | | | Jammu oct-12- Deploring the State Government of its anti-labour policies, the working Committee of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) in its meeting held under the Chairmanship of its working President Nand Kishrore Gupta has criticized the government of its failure to implement the labour laws in the state. The working committee expressed its grave concern over the anti-labour policies of the government and the Labour Department and alleged that the genuine demands like implementation of labour laws and grant of pension to the workers are being relegated to the background and alleged that the government for their vested interests is exploiting workers. The Working Committee decided to launch a week long countrywide protest demonstrations from November 13 apart from submitting a memorandum to the Prime Minister .The meeting also expressed its grave concern over non-disbursement of Salaries to the Super Bazar and SRTC employees and urged the managements to implement the Minimum Wages Act in its totality. N K Gupta, Lakshman, Ravinder Singh, Ashok Choudhary, Karan Singh, Rajinder Bhat, Major Singh, Karnail Chand, Som Dass, Ajay Singh, Pawan Baru, Omkar Sharma and Sachin Bali attended the meeting among others
