EJAC holds protest dharna

KATHUA, Mar 13: All Jammu and Kashmir Gove-rnment Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) staged a dharna at Shaheed Baghat Singh Park here today in favour of their pending demands.
The protesting employees shouted slogans against government and demanded the release of pending arrears since 2006 of the sixth pay commission, remove the pay anomalies, equal HRA for both city and rural and regulisation of all daily wagers besides other need based employees.

While addressing the employees, the EJAC leaders blamed the state government for not giving genuine rights of the employees as per sixth pay commission which was directed by the central government.
They said that all the central government employees have been given their due benefits of the sixth pay commission but our state government is deliberately ignoring the employees to give such benefits due to them which employees are harassing the employees.
