| Two-day bail to SI Satnam | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 13: Cooling feet in the Kot-Bhalwal jail in the infamous Amandeep murder case, Sub-Inspector (SI) Satnam Singh was today granted "escort" bail for two days by a lower court. He was granted conditional bail by the principal sessions judge B L Bhat to attend the last rites of his nephew Kuldeep Singh, who was killed in a road accident at Guwahati in Assam few days back. The court also issued directions in this regard to SSP, Jammu, and superintendent, central jail, Kot-Bhalwal, to provide all facilities to the SI and provide him escort during day time on March 14 and 15.The bail application was filed by Satnam's lawyer D S Chouhan. Satnam was booked under sections 120-B/34 and 409 of RPC. |
